The Dawson County Government Center project unified the multiple county functions that were formerly spread out among several buildings. Located in Dawsonville, Georgia, this new facility combines Superior Court, Magistrate Court, and Probate Court. Additionally, it houses the County Administration, Board of Commissioners, Tax Assessor, Tax Commissioner, Superior Court Clerk, Community Development Department, Code Enforcement, Public Defender and District Attorney Offices. An existing non-commissioned officer’s club at Ft. Stewart Amy base near Savannah, GA could only be described as dated. In an effort to revitalize the ‘lifestyle center’ at Ft. Located in Springfield, Oregon, this Justice Center is a three-story facility that houses a police center with dispatch, patrol and investigation bureaus, two Municipal Courtrooms, Judge’s offices, offices for the City Prosecutor, and training rooms. The facility also features a 100-bed jail. The interior design scope focused on the courtrooms, police center, and support spaces. Completed in 2009, this four-story facility is home to FAMU’s physical education department and basketball teams. It features physical education training areas, a hydrotherapy pool, concession stands and ticket booths, a banquet hall, interactive learning classrooms, a dance classroom, athletic and physical education offices, an indoor track and an arena that will accommodate over nine thousand.
